Aston Martin driving experience proves a hit

The fourth annual winter driving experience from Aston Martin is already proving a hit, with more customers than ever turning up to the event in St Moritz.

Aston Martin on Ice involves participants taking part in ten days of challenges across a specially-prepared ice field in the region.

A total of six Aston Martin models will be involved, including the four-door Rapide and the Virage and V8 Vantage S.

Jeffrey L Scott, managing director of Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe, said not only has the brand gone from strength to strength, but so has the event.

He continued: "Our impressive model line-up continues to grow parallel to the sales potential in our markets such as Germany which saw a very strong growth in annual sales in 2011."

Other markets such as Italy are also demonstrating the same trends at the moment, added Mr Scott.

Last month, the Aston Martin Rapide won for the third year in a row at the readers' vote for the Best Cars 2012, carried out by German car magazine auto motor und sport.

It came out in the top spot in the Luxury Class Imported category rating.
