Aston Martin has been recognised as manufacturing one of the most exciting cars for the year.
The Aston Martin One-77 was awarded "Star of the Show" at the annual South Florida International Auto Show (SFIAS) by the Southern Automotive Media Association (SAMA).
The nine-member panel were impressed with the coupe's unique handcrafted aluminium body and 7.3 litre V12 engine.
"In the end, the judges felt that the new Aston Martin One-77, which made its North American auto show debut in Miami, was just the most exciting vehicle on the floor and it’s the one car that people will come to the show to see," said SAMA judging committee chairman Ron Beasley.
Estimates for the final pricing of the Aston Martin One-77 vary, but all expect the price to easily run in the millions.
The Courier-Mail predicted the price to be approximately AU$2.6 million, and it is reported that New Zealand businessman Neil Graham currently owns the only model currently in Australasia.
While the One-77 isn't in most customers' price ranges, there are plenty of other Aston Martin models available to indulge in - including the Aston Martin V8, Aston Martin DBS and Aston Martin Rapide models.
